1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all current and future Power BI custom visuals developed and published by BENE.BIZ (collectively, the “Visuals”).

2. Data Collection and Processing

The Visuals operate entirely within the Power BI environment and do not collect, transmit, or store any personal or business data outside the user’s local environment. Specifically:

  • All data processed by the Visuals is supplied by Power BI.
  • Processing and rendering occur exclusively in the user’s web browser or Power BI Desktop client.
  • The Visuals do not execute API calls to any external systems or services.
  • No data is transmitted to BENE.BIZ or to any third party.

3. Payments and Licensing

For paid Visuals, subscription and licensing information may be received from the distribution platform (e.g., Microsoft AppSource) solely for the purpose of validating license status and managing subscriptions.

  • BENE.BIZ does not receive or store payment card details directly.
  • No payment-related data is processed within the Visuals themselves.

4. User Privacy and Permissions

BENE.BIZ respects the privacy of all users and will:

  • Not request unnecessary permissions.
  • Not engage in user tracking, profiling, or behavioral analytics.
  • Not embed advertising networks, tracking frameworks, or analytics tools in the Visuals.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

As the Visuals do not collect or transmit data externally, no user data is shared with third parties.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since the Visuals do not collect or store data, no user data is retained. In the case of licensing data received from the distribution platform, such data will be retained only as long as necessary to administer the subscription and will be deleted upon termination.

7. Changes to this Policy

BENE.BIZ may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be published with a revised “Last Update” date. Continued use of the Visuals after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
